Background: Inhaler is a device used by patients who have chronic respiratory illness. Inhaled medication directly deposited in the lungs, which its site of action. Improper use inhalers can lead to worsening disease, over and side effects including oral candidiasis. This study aims evaluate inhaler technique.Methods: A hospital based cross sectional was conducted among were using for one year or more attending medicine OPD pretested semi-structured questionnaire.Results: The majority 81 MDI users. Only 8.64% them performed all steps according NIH guidelines regarding proper technique properly. Among 39 dry powder Inhaler, 33% correctly guidelines.Conclusions: low proportion properly inhalers. leads poor efficacy treatment. So health care providers should take measures ensure that on are aware following correctly.
